There are three main configurations for solar systems.

- Hybrid (Power your main panel with your choice of sources.)
The EG4 12KPV and 18KPV are hybrid inverters that can run your house off solar, batter or grid depending on what’s available. Hybrid inverters are more expensive than off-grid inverters, but they can be simpler to install in an existing home, which can offset the added cost.
